Expecting Opposition
Nehemiah 2, 4
Before moving into chapter 3 of Nehemiah, Pastor Jack points out that whenever we seek to make a stand for the Lord or do a work in His name, we can expect three enemies will gather together to oppose our every step: the world system, the flesh, and the devil. Working in concert they seek to stop any progress, using any means available and allowable by the Lord to thwart that work. This was true for Nehemiah and his mission to encourage and lead the people to restore and rebuild Jerusalem.
