1 Peter: Suffering and Sanctification
The young church was enduring a testing time of "fiery trials" when Peter decided to write what has become known as the book of 1 Peter. His hope was to encourage fellow believers to remain strong in their faith in Christ, even in the face of tremendous persecution and suffering. By studying the spiritual insights found in the book of 1 Peter, we can gain the kind of faith that will persevere through our hardships and trials today.
