Psalm 119:133
The cry of the Psalmist should also be our cry to the Lord that through His Word He would deliver us from the darkness and the evil one. In practical terms, how does that happen? Pastor Jack tells us that God gives the orders and we supply the willingness to obey. He then supplies the ability to follow His ways. The result is a life lived for the Lord and sin held at bay because we are walking in Him. Yet if we have no desire to obey, then the Word cannot guide and will not deliver us from sin. Yet a life of obedience will lead us in paths of victory and deliverance from any bondage of sin.
