1 Timothy Inductive Bible Study
As the churches grew and the Word of God spread, questions arose about church order, soundness in faith, and discipline.
The Lord directed Paul to write these pastoral letters after years of walking in faith and in the context of sending out these men to oversee the young churches that had been planted throughout the world. 1 Timothy 3:15 is the key verse of this letter for it defines Paul’s purpose for writing. I write so that you may know how you ought to conduct yourself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.
An Inductive Bible Study Through The Book Of 1 Timothy
16 Chapters
Morningstar Christian Chapel Inductive Bible Studies are designed to help believers go through the Bible and discover the rich Truths of God's Word for themselves. Paul told Timothy to be a student of the Word (2 Timothy 2:15) and Peter encouraged us to have an answer for every man who asks for the hope that lies within us (1 Peter 3:15).
By breaking up each study into 6 days of work and learning, with challenging questions and applications, the inductive study method will have you gleaning much from the awesome Word of God which never goes out void (Isaiah 55:11).
These studies are not designed to replace your weekly involvement in your local church fellowship for Bible study but are rather to supplement your daily devotions and reading times before the Lord. God promises to teach us much if we desire to know Him (Jeremiah 33:3).
These studies are used by Morningstar to lead men's and women's Bible studies. They also make an excellent resource for anyone wishing to lead a small group.
So may the Lord fill you with the knowledge of Him (Ephesians 1:17; 2 Peter 1:3) as you seek His face diligently and may His Word fill your hearts and minds through Jesus Christ.
