Psalm 37:1-11
Pastor Jack says that this is his favorite Psalm because it so clearly addresses the rest and hope we can have in our faith in God’s care and love for His own. It is certain David wrote this particular psalm in his old age…we know that because he says he is old: so his insights are based on years of experience walking with the Lord and his words no doubt are less inhibited for the elderly say what they think without restraint; they have after all survived it this long. From this great Psalm we can glean from this wise sage and the many lessons he learned.
