Pastor Jack, looking at the opening words of the prophet Jeremiah, has a great message for backsliders. In the course of this study, we are given many indications of what happens when one turns away from following the Lord. To the disobedient people in Jeremiah's day, God's message to them was to return to the Lord, acknowledge their sin, and to repent. We are shown that it takes time and effort to fall away from the Lord, but to get back following Him is simple and quick.
