The God Who Carries Me
Isaiah 46
During Isaiah’s time, people fashioned their own gods out of stone, wood, etc. As such, they were able to carry them from place to place. How different is God from these false gods. He does not need to be carried nor can He be. Rather He carries us. Speaking through the prophet, He tells the people that He is the only true God and nothing can compare to Him. Today, there are many that worship false gods. Oh they may not be graven images like those in Isaiah’s day. They are the myriad of gadgets and electronic devices that people have come to depend on. In the end these false gods will fail but God will prove Himself faithful and carry you through to the end.
